The Fibre Box Association wants to help you promote your packaging success story at Wal-Mart’s 5th Annual Sustainable Packaging Expo, April 6 – 7, in Rogers, Arkansas.
Since the first Expo, FBA has participated in these events and remains an active member in Wal-Mart’s Sustainable Value Network (SVN). Our exhibits reinforce member participation and ensure that corrugated products are recognized as “the responsible package.”
This year, Wal-Mart is requiring all expo exhibitors to provide a packaging success story that is specific to Wal-Mart. They are looking for examples of actual packaging changes that have been made or are proposed for items sold at Wal-Mart or Sam’s Club.
To help us meet this requirement, we are seeking examples from FBA members who are willing to share their success stories through the FBA booth. Submit an improvement that you plan to promote during your own participation – you’ll get double exposure! Don’t plan to participate or can’t participate – we’ll showcase your packaging change for you!
We strongly encourage those of you that have been invited to participate, to complete the Wal-Mart SVN registration and application process.
Please share your success story by Wednesday, January 27, 2010 by contacting Rachel Kenyon at (847) 364-9637 or by e-mail at rkenyon@fibrebox.org . For questions about the Wal-Mart SVN or Packaging Expo, please contact Brian O’Banion at (847) 364-9635 or by-email at bobanion@fibrebox.org.
