Nearly 90 percent of the Fibre Box Association members are made up of Independent
Corrugators or Independent Sheet Plants. That is why FBA works hard to make sure
that their independent and integrated members have an equal voice.
The FBA Independent Committee was put together in 2006 to strengthen the independent
voice. This committee works to achieve their goal through independent member recruitment
and retention, as well as the developing of programs and services that will better
serve the independent sector of membership.
The Independent Committee plans and oversees both the Independent Corrugator Executive
Conference, a 24-hour conference which includes roundtable discussion, with topics
collaborated by attendees as well as various types of plant tours and the Independent
Sheet Plant Operator Workshop, a three-day workshop including roundtable discussion,
presentations of pressing industry issues and plenty of valuable networking time.
Achievements:
The FBA Independent Committee aided in creating the new “FBA: Helping Grow
Your Business” value proposition brochure, used in member recruitment and
