CORRUGATED MODULAR SYSTEMS
As the corrugated industry’s #1 resource for statistics, information, standards
and representation, the FBA helps its members find new ways to meet their
customers’ needs in an ever-changing business climate, providing industry-wide
consistency to create widespread improvements.
The Corrugated Common Footprint (CCF) standard for
produce and the Corrugated Case-Ready Meat System (CRMS)
are two industry developments facilitated and led by FBA working committees.
Both design standards were conceived to help corrugated packaging companies
become more competitive in markets under direct threat by competing materials.
The FBA provided the framework for member companies to cooperate and devise
standards that meet the marketing challenges head-on, while maintaining and
upholding each company’s rightful technical innovation and marketing
independence. The CCF and CRMS are products of the FBA, manufactured by
corrugated industry members, and promoted by the Corrugated Packaging Alliance
in its mission to improve corrugated performance against competing materials
such as plastic.
The final technical specifications for both the CCF and CRMS are located on
this page. For additional information about the implementation of both systems,
