January - Webinar Tour of www.fibrebox.org The January session focused on navigating the FBA website, www.fibrebox.org. Participants learned to use FBA's site as a resource tool for accessing information about industry statistics, technical FAQs, the latest industry news, FBA's directory of corrugated plants, labor information and more. February - Webinar on Compostability Brian O'Banion, FBA vice president updated members on the industry's corrugated compostability effort, FBA's role in this work and provided a current status check. March - Webinar on FBA Data Services Keynoted by Dick Storat Dick Storat of Richard Storat & Associates, Inc. keynoted March's webinar, giving participants insight on how to get the greatest value from FBA's data services. Dick highlighted FBA's reports and surveys, showcasing the different information to be gleaned from each report. He also provided insight on how to best utilize that information. April - 2013 Annual Meeting Review Webinar FBA reviewed important information from the Annual Meeting and created a conversation for those who weren't able to attend. The following topics were reviewed: • Keynote presentation on the State of the Corrugated Industry by James Hannan, Chief Executive Officer and President of Georgia-Pacific Corporation • Panel discussion on Changing Dynamics of the Industry • Newly introduced tool to help members create good conversations about corrugated products and our industry • 2012-2013 FBA Membership Report • Association update May - Webinar Keynoted by Chad Moutray of NAM Chad Moutray, NAM Chief Economist, provided an overview of current U.S. and global macroeconomic trends, highlighted economic opportunities and challenges facing manufacturers and gave an economic forecast for the year ahead.
