FBA News

As Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) legislation continues to expand across the country, the Fibre Box Association (FBA) has developed two new resources to help member companies navigate the evolving policy landscape.
The first is a structured overview of current EPR laws that may be relevant to corrugated packaging, including general program descriptions, timelines, and high-level summaries of key requirements. The second is a companion master spreadsheet that organizes statutory information in a side-by-side format, making it easier to compare provisions across states and jurisdictions. Together, they cover elements such as program scope, key definitions, and implementation timelines.
These resources are intended as a centralized, easy-to-navigate reference drawing on publicly available statutory information. They are informational in nature and do not constitute legal advice. Member companies should consult their own counsel to assess how any particular statute may apply to their operations.
Both documents are available in the Member Resources section of the FBA website. Questions can be directed to Jonita Verma, Senior Technical Services Coordinator, at jverma@fibrebox.org.
