FBA forms new Cybersecurity Committee

In the wake of recent ransomware attacks on corrugated industry companies, the Fibre Box Association’s (FBA) Executive Committee of the Board of Directors has approved the formation of a new Cybersecurity Committee. The purpose of the committee is to share up-to-date technology and information available to help protect corrugated industry companies against cybersecurity attacks.  The committee will focus on issues best addressed by the whole industry, rather than individual companies.

The association is currently seeking interested member company representatives to serve on the committee.

Committee members could consist of those individuals within our member companies responsible for cybersecurity including Information Technology (IT), Finance, Legal and other functions. The committee will also include the participation of FBA’s outside legal counsel, Foley & Lardner, LLP, who specializes in this area, and potentially a cybersecurity consultant who could help gather information on best practices and current technology.  The committee will meet as needed, but at least two times a year by virtual meeting.

If your company is interested in participating in the committee, please send contact information for your proposed representative to Caitlin Salaverria (

Questions about the new committee can be directed to Dennis Colley (

We look forward to helping the industry address the cybersecurity challenge.
