FBA President Bob McIlvaine Presents at 2026 FEFCO Summit

Last week, Fibre Box Association (FBA) President Bob McIlvaine presented at FEFCO’s 2026 Summit in Madrid, Spain. FEFCO is the voice of the European corrugated packaging industry, and the summit brings together its membership and international leaders and experts to discuss today’s industry landscape.

This year’s theme was “circularity in action,” and McIlvaine participated in a panel on corrugated packaging as a circularity champion with other industry representatives. He showcased the latest findings from the Corrugated Packaging Alliance’s 2025 Comparative Life Cycle Assessment, which measured the environmental impacts of corrugated packaging versus reusable plastic containers (RPCs). 

He also highlighted the importance of aligning the sustainability benefits with the business case for using corrugated packaging. Other presentations at the conference focused on economic and policy trends across Europe and featured speakers from a number of corrugated companies and associations.
