Thinking Inside the Box: FBA Staff Go Behind the Scenes with Green Bay Packaging

Fibre Box Association (FBA) staff recently traveled to Green Bay, Wisconsin, for a firsthand look at the journey from recovered fiber to finished corrugated packaging with tours at Green Bay Packaging’s Shipping Container Division and Green Bay Paper Mill.

The visit gave FBA staff a deeper appreciation for the equipment, processes, and people involved in turning recovered fiber into new packaging and connected the work we do every day with what happens inside the mill and box plant. The experience reinforced the value of getting out into the field. FBA thanks Green Bay Packaging for the opportunity to tour their facilities, dive deeper into their processes, pick the brains of their staff, and learn more about the industry we serve.
