The Tech Box
The Fibre Box Association (FBA) Safety and Health Committee is pleased to spotlight the Innovation in Safety Award, a distinct recognition honoring solutions that meaningfully improve workplace safety across the corrugated industry.
The Innovation in Safety Award recognizes creative, practical, and scalable safety innovations. These submissions go beyond compliance, demonstrating how ingenuity, engineering controls, process redesign, and employee engagement can reduce risk and strengthen safety culture.
Recent Innovation in Safety Award recipients have showcased exceptional problem-solving in addressing real-world safety challenges common to corrugated operations. Award-winning submissions have included novel machine guarding concepts, ergonomic improvements, traffic and material-handling controls, and data-driven approaches to hazard prevention.
Collectively, these innovations demonstrate how collaboration between operations, maintenance, engineering, and safety can lead to measurable risk reduction and safer workplaces. They continue to set a high benchmark for excellence and serve as models for facilities across the corrugated industry.
